Hello all, My G.G.Grandparents were married in St Cuthberts in January 1839. It looks a very large church. I've been to Edinburgh over the years, but must pay the church a visit nextime, to see the grave of my G.G.Grandmother. Enough for now. Keep warm and look out for each other. Seasonal love. Victor

My wife and I visited your Church on Saturday 25th Sept 2010. We are to attend a Memorial Service there on Wednesday 6th October and wanted to find the sitaution of the Church before that date. The lady and gentleman present on Saturday were so pleasant, welcoming, informative , patient and knowledgeable of your beautiful church and it's history etc. My husband and I visit Italy each year and love to visit churches there. Your church is amongst the most wonderful churches we have ever seen to date. You are privileged indeed to have such a magnificent and historical place to worship in.

My maiden name is Price and I have discovered that my great-great-great grandparents, James Price and Grace Bold were married at this church on 21st Aug 1832. With a surname like Price, I always assumed we were from Wales. Not so! James was born in Lisbon, Portugal and his descendents in Edingburgh. I would love to visit the church in person.

I came to Edinburgh for the Sanctuary in the City on 7th April with friends from Dumfries. It was wonderful, so peaceful; the music was superb and the way the 'readings' were conducted really made me stop and listen. I will definitely be back on the 26th May. Thank you.

I am a Christian songwriter from Melbourne in Australia, and anyone is welcome to use the songs on my website at www.andrewpricesongs.com. All the audio files, words, guitar chords and sheet music are available for free. I hope the songs will help people in their worship of God and encourage them in their Christian faith.

Thank you for posting a picture of St. Cuthbert's, where my great-grandfather Robert Weir was christened in 1785. My family and I are so glad to see this beautiful church (which we cannot see in person, since we live in San Diego, California, USA). With all good wishes, Aline Hornaday and Phyllis Stookey.
