Dear Scottish friends. Thank you so much again to let CORO PICCOLO from Germany
sing together with the KINGDOM SINGERS from Dunfermline in your wonderful
church in the heart of Edinburgh. We have celebrated this evening in June 2009
and felt very honored. We hope to come back again and wish you a peaceful and
Merry Christmas. Happy New Year from Germany

We were in your magnificent city, from the south of England, and noticed in the
Edinburgh's Christmas 2009 booklet the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
being held in your Church on Sunday December 13th. We felt this was not to be
missed and duly walked in from our holiday flat in Hopetoun Crescent, off Leith
Walk. We were not disapppointed; the service was so meaningful and conveyed the
true spirit of Christmas. There was, however, just one thing which was
disappointing: we felt the pews should have been as full with people as the
shops in nearby Princes Street were earlier in the day. Thank you for a lovely
Festival.

I am so excited to be coming to see the church of my grandparents - 4th great

grandmother here after searching for her for over 20 years myself and other
family members also searching over 20+ years. This visit will be a dream come

Hi, I am so excited as I have just discovered that my 15 & 16th
Grandfathers were born in St.Cuthbert(s)back in 1574 & 1549. I cannot wait
to return to Edinburgh and visit(from British Columbia,Canada).Perhaps that was
why I always felt at home in Edinburgh. I was also born there(1958,Little
France). "Auld Reekie" i miss you.St Cuthberts looks great. rtk

According to old family records, my great-grandparents, Catherine Crawford and
Peter Gow Douglas were married in St. Cuthbert's Parish Church in 1878.I have
just recently started my foray into genealogy and I'm glad I found your
website. I loved having a look around. Thanks

I have a friend who knows the minister and the church, so St.cuthberts has been
one of the first things I have researched on my new lap-top. I liked the
stained glass and stories of the saint.

I have recently discovered my gt-gt grandparents married at St Cuthberts in
1837 before moving down to London. As I had always wondered where the Scottish
link was in our McAlpin name I am delighted & hope to visit the Church one
day. I have previously been to Edinburgh before I knew & have constantly
yearned to be back in Scotland. Now I know why !!

Wanted to let you know that I met Tom Cuthell in Biringham, Alabama, USA where
we preached at South Highlands Presbyterian Church. How fortunate you were to
have enjoyed him for so long and how fortunate am I to have heard him speak.

I just found out that my great, great, great grandparents Robert Lowrie and
Innes Hamilton were married at St. Cuthbert's on March 12, 1832. I've been
doing family research. Wanted to check and see if there was a website for the
church, so I could see photographs and read some history about the church. I
hope to visit Scotland someday. I'm from Lindsay, Ontario, Canada. Very pleased
to visit your website.

Thank you for your website. I was looking at various entries on google about
the Celtic Church and tou came up. I used to live in Northumberland and also
spent an academic year in Duns. I visited Edinburgh often during this time.
Thank you again for the clarity of your information and many blessings as you
serve the Lord in all His spledour! Richard J.

Recently found family history of my great great grandfather and great
grandfather being members of your parish back in late 17 and early 1800's. They
were married and registered there. Your parish and website is a marvelous piece
of history.
