St Cuthbert's Church is located beyond the west end of Princes Street Gardens, on the corner of Lothian Road and King's Stables Road. There are entrances into the churchyard from Princes Street, West Princes Street Gardens, Kings Stables Road and Lothian Road. The main entrance to the church is the door at the west end of the south side. 

Getting Here

Access to the Church

There are steps leading down to the graveyard from the entrances on Princes Street and Lothian Road. An inclined ramp leads from Princess Street Gardens up in the graveyard.

There a flat driveway, and vehicular access to the church from King's Stables Road. The driveway leads from the road, through the graveyard, up to the main front door of the church. There are steps at the church door, and also an inclined ramp up to the door from the right hand side.

There are usually no problems dropping people off at the foot of the ramp, but as there is very limited space for parking in the graveyard it is not always possible to park in the graveyard. There is metered parking on King's Stables Road (the meters are off after 6:30pm). There is also an NCP multi-storey car park with entrances on Kings Stables Road and Castle Terrace.

Inside the church, most of the ground floor level is flat, although there are steps down into the Memorial Chapel. There is a lift which gives access to all floors of the building. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor
