'Sanctuary In The
City' is a new venture for St Cuthbert's Church
The church is open between 5pm and 9pm - come and go when you want

"Sanctuary In The City" is an
event that seeks to create sacred space in the heart of the city.
This is a space to explore creative worship or silent reflection.
This is where you can stop, take a deep breath, and be refreshed from the
busyness of life.

- This is not another formal service full of words !
- This is a place of stillness, peace, and beauty, where you chose how to
spend your time, and how much time
- The church is open between 5pm and 9pm - come whenever you can, stay as
long as you want.
- There will be quiet music playing
- There will be various points set up around the church that you may find
helpful to focus your thoughts or prayers.
- You may chose to engage with these areas or simply ignore them !
- There is no right or wrong way of spending your time on these evenings !
- We offer you the space - you choose how to use it !

Why not come along and have a look between 5pm and 9pm on any of these
evenings - if you don't like it, you don't have to stay ! ...but you may find
you want to stay all evening !
