Notes

1. In addition to basic charge
- Services of professional organist/pianist (if employed) £100
- If a recording is made, an additional £100 fee is to be paid to the
organist/pianist
- If a choir is employed an additional £20 to be paid to the
organist/pianist and £25 to be paid to each member of the choir
- If Church bell ringers are employed, there will be an additional charge of
£100 for their services
- For a rehearsal on any day prior to the event, there may be a charge of
£60 for use of the church, and £30 for use of the Lindisfarne Room,
or Lammermuir Hall.
- The hourly rate of the Church Officer's overtime (currently £8.75) is
added for all lets outside normal working hours where overtime is incurred, and
is solely or partly attributable to the hirer's occupancy.
- For a concert, recital, function etc., that takes place on a Friday or
Saturday evening, there may be an additional charge of £50 for cleaning of
church premises prior to the Sunday services.
- Due to the high cost of the Public Entertainments Licence and Performing
Rights Licence, an additional sum of £40 is charged to hirers and others
using the premises for public performances.
- Where St. Cuthbert's provides staging, a charge of £40 will be made to
cover the extra costs of erecting and dismantling it.
- All breakages of any equipment, be it in the church, halls or kitchen,
attract an additional charge to cover replacement.
